Hi,
I have setup a backup maintenance plan using Enterprise Manager. I set the backup so that it would delete the previous day's backup, but it's not erasing anything. I end up having to manually go in Explorer and delete the old backup files manually. Did I setup the backup plan incorrectly? Thanks.

Couldn't see the screenshot......
A couple of questions....
Are you trying to back up all the databases under 1 plan?
If so, are all databases in "Trunc. Log On Chkpt." mode?
Are you attempting integrity checks on all databases?
Is someone logged in when the backups are occuring (can't go to single-user mode for DBCC CheckBD)?
Are there any messages in the errorlog or maint logs?

A little bit of this and a little byte of that can cause bloatware.
