access denied when logging into Analysis Services

    In Anlysis Services, when we try to connect to the server within the Analysis Manager console, we get is:

    "Select permission denied on object 'OLAPObjects', database 'msdb', owner 'dbo'.

     

    Any idea what the problem may be?

    The user connecting must be a member of the local OLAP Administrators group. User's security rights must be set to allow Public, Db_DataReader and Db_DataWriter on the SQL repository in addition to Public.
