Export HTML4.0 : Reporting Services SP1

  • Hi,

When I export my report to HTML4.0 format, image doesn't displayed. I tryed all methods to insert an image in my report, I have precised in the XML tag the element with HTML4.0 but I have always the problem.

    Is it a bug ?

  • I'm not sure if it's the same problem that I had. But one of the service packs in CR updated the C:\Windows\System32\exlate32.dll file. The updated version of this file converts all tag indentifier "<" and ">" to their code equivelant "<" and ">". After that none of my HTML or XML worked, obviously.

I had to get an older version of the exlate32.dll file to make it work again.

  • I am not speaking of Crystal Report but Microsoft SQLServer Reporting Services.

  • Apply SP1, you will get the option to export HTML with office web components.

  • In fact, when you want to export to HTML4.0, you have to get image and save it in a temporary folder.

    Example : http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/rsprog/htm/rsp_ref_soapapi_service_lz_49f6.asp
