Does anyone else have responsibility for Citrix servers in addition to SQL Server DBA responsibilities? I have investigated the Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) certification but I would like some advice from anyone who has the cert or is preparing for it.
The costs seem minimal ($100 exam fee, $100 eLearning fees) but is the CCA well recognized by employers? According to an article I read, there are 45,000 Citrix certified people out there. Are there any benefits to the CCA other than a logo on your resume?
The exam I would take is "Citrix Metaframe XP Presentation Server, Feature Release 3: Administration", exam number 222. My company is currently running Metaframe 1.8 with plans to upgrade within the next twelve months. Would this certification help build skills for the upgrade or is the test too abstract to apply to real-world situations?
Any advice is welcome...

Hi,
I am a SQL DBA as well as CCEA.
Just to make you aware the new version of Metaframe - Metaframe Presentation Server 3.0 is now available, so I would look into this a over FR3
