The only book I have seen published to date is The Rational Guid to: SQL Server Reproting Services. I just ordered it, so I don't know if it is any good. There are others, but not yet released.

Have you seen the new MS SQL ServerReporting Services tool? It is free with a subscription to SQL Server and it appears to integrate quite well with the VS.Net IDE. I've only seen the demo but was impressed, sans the commercial.
It didn't appear to need a book because it uses a click and drag functionality that is rather intuitive.

I am currently experimenting with the Development Environment, but have found a book would be helpful in order to shorten the learning curve for things like drill-down and then there is deployment and integrating the reports within an already developed enfvironment.

I have also ordered The Rational Guide to SQL Server Reporting Services. I will post something when I have read it.

Thanks

I got this book in yesterday. Needless to say, I wan't impressed. If you knew zero about SSRS, it would help, but from a developer's/DBA's standpoint, you can get 98% of what this book covers from newsgroups, forums, and BOL.

Since, according to Lee, the book was not very good and Amazon had a problem and could not ship the book until April 26th I cancelled. I have since figured out the majority of my issues.
