Backing up databse plan

    Hi all,

    I use Database Maintenance Plans to do an auto back up databases every night.  I just wonder if this would back up just "data" only or it also does back up the structure of the whole database as well?

    Much appreciate anyone's input.

    Hi if you are doing a full backup of the database every night then yes it backups all objects eg stored procs,views users,tables etc and data.
