  Hi

  has anyone seen this before ?

  I wanted to re-run a failed SQL Server job from a particular step and the start job window shows the steps out of order. I choose the step I wanted to start from and all has seemed to work OK, I am just a little worried that there is a bigger problem that I can't see yet.

  Prod machine shows steps in no particular order, dev machine shows steps in correct order.

  I have tried restarting SQL Server and Windows.

  Check the sysjobs and sysjobsteps tables in msdb from both servers for that particular job, and check if there are any diferences.

  If there are , you can script the job from the dev machine, and run in in the prod server, to recreate the job.
