Hi!
I have a % Processor time counter log, on a server, written to a file, for a few days. When I open it in Performance console, it is very hard to point to a small period of time.
I could only narrow it to 20 minutes. Is there a way to export the data of a counter log into an Excel table, so I could view the data and build my own diagrams?
Thanks.

What version of SQL Server and OS. I know you can, it is just a bit different based off of version and os.

It is Win2k Adv Server 2000 sp4 + MS SQL 2000 Ent sp3
/* wonder how the version of MS SQL server makes difference */

I think there is a resource kit utility to do this, but a quick search on Technet doesn't find it.

2amitelman: This is what I was looking for, but it only installs on sp2.
Thanks anyway.
