I currently have over 150 DTS packages and I am now finding errors when I make changes to them. When I am in a Transform Task I select the source table and go to define the Destination columns MMC exits with an error! It is an mmc.exe application error which states:
The instruction a "0xXXX..." referenced memory at "0xXX..." The memory could not be "written"
Has anyone ever encountered this issue?
I could not find anything on microsoft.com with Sql Server 2000 sp3 referring to this problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Try this:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;814113
MS03-031 contains a fix that must be applied on each client computer.

That did it! Thanks!! It looks like there are a few hot fixes to be rolled up into sp4. Happy Holidays.
