  hi,

  I am trying to incorporate SQL Notifiction Services in one

  of my applications. But I have some serious doubts in this

  regard. Hope you could help me out in clearing these doubts

  1) Can we use the NS Stored Procedure sp_InsertRule to insert

  new Event rules based on which the events are to be fired ie,

  Instead of writing a New ADF file for new event firing rules

  Can we do it directly in the tables created by NS ?? If so

  will the new rules fire notifications automatically without

  rebuilding the application again ??

  2) Can we add dynamic Event Fields as we like or is it fixed

  as we had written in ADF.Xml ?? I mean to ask to start with

  I have a fixed number of event fields I define in the ADF.Xml.

  Later through my appication (Front End) can I add new Event

  fields and hence setup new business rules witho those new

  event firleds. Or is it necessary for me to re-write the

  ADf.XMl each time I add new Event data fields ??

  3) NS supports getting data from difeent data sources.But can

  I get event Data from Dynamically Different chanding data sources

  like at one from XML and another from Excel File.
