Unable to browse the cube

  Dear Listers,

  I'm trying to resolve an access issue that a developer is currently experiencing.

  I have only just installed AS, and have had no experience with Data Warehousing.

  When the developer attemtps to connect via XP Excel the following message occurs:

  'Excel cannot find OLAP cube 'Balances_All'. Either the OLAP database has been changed or you don't have permissions to connect to the cube.'

  The developer is able to connect to the sample 'Foodmart' demonstration cube.

  I suspect that this points towards a permissions problem, however, someone may have experienced a similar problem.

  Also, you should bring up Analysis Manager and see if you can browse the cube that way.

  If someone did something like process a dimension, the cube will not be able to be browsed by anyone until it is processed.
