Hello.
I have a weird problem on SQL server 2000 (SP2): There are several DTS packages with SQL mail objects included in them. If i manualy open and run any of the packages - they run fine. But if I schedule them under Jobs, they complete successfuly only for an undetermined number of times (like 3 to 5 times in 48 hours). After that, the job stops at the DTS step and never completes. I am quite sure that whitin the DTS package it stops at the SQL mail object.
Funny thing: if, after that, i manualy open DTS package and execute it, it completes okey. But it won't run anymore under the job, no matter if i schedule the job or manualy run it.
After rebooting the server, everything works ok (for another ~48 hrs).
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,

Yeah, it helps! Seems like the same problem. Thanx DavidB!
Now what? Should i replace SQLMAP70.DLL(sp2) with SQLMAP70.DLL(sp1)? Are there any news/updates on this issue?
Eh! I'm so dissapointed. You see, this is a heavy-duty, dedicated production server. Long downtimes are really not desired 🙁
