    Can some one help me in finding the route cause of the issue and the solution for the below error FCB::Open: Operating system error 3(The system cannot find the path specified.) occurred while creating or opening file 'E:\DATA\xxx\xxxxx.mdf'.     Hi,

    I am getting that message when I try to check the properties of the databse.

    Also I could able to check the properties of the database when I make the databse offline and reset back to online.

    Could any one please let me know, what could be the cause of this issue and fix for the same.

    Is the path E:\DATA\xxx\xxxxx.mdf valid? Is the mdf file there?

    Does the SQL Server Service Account have full permissions on that file and folder?
