After changing sa passwords

    My replication failed after changing sa passwords on both publisher (distributor is on the same server) and its subscriber. There is no doubt, the replication failed.

    What are the procedures to make it work again?

    Any input will be greatly appreciated in advance.

    Not sure if you've checked but forgive me if you have

    In your replication, the sa account may be being used...if I remember correctly, the properties of the distribution agents. I think it's under Configure Subscibers,Publishers Distribution. You will find you have to change the sa password there aswell...

    Yes, it's a bit hidden. Under Configure Subscibers,Publishers Distribution go to the Publishers tab, and hit the elipsis button for the distributor. You may see that it's using the 'sa' account there. Been there 🙂
