"The log file for database 'sqlservercentral' is full. Back up the transaction log for the database to free up some log space."
This is the message I saw at the top of my screen logging into SqlServerCentral this afternoon. I'd post a link to an article on maintenance plans/recover models but I'm kind of busy right now. (just teasing guys)

We were trying out a new email system for our vendor mailing yesterday and the load happened a few minutes before the next T-log backup. Wasn't quite expecting this much data to go in

Steve, it sounds as if you shave not shortened the transaction log backup interval from 1 hour to 15 minutes yet ...
