Stored Procedure column names

    Are the column names returned by a stored procedure stored anywhere, or are they generated at run time?  I tried syscolumns, but all that offers is the paramater names.

    Thanks for any insight you may be able to provide.

    Generated at runtime, as far as I know. Makes sense, since sps can return completely different resultsets for different callings.
