Hi, guys
FYI, I just noticed that the SQLServerCentral Daily Update was in my Bulk Mail box in my Yahoo mail. Somehow it was marked as Spam. I reported it as not spam, so hopefully they'll rectify it. I was wondering why I wasn't getting the update for the last couple of days...

Brian,
Thanks. It happens sometimes as they update their filters and catch us for some reason.

I fought this day after day, clicking on "This is not spam". I finally realized that somebody is clicking on "This is spam" for every time I said its not. I just set up a filter to copy anything from SQLServerCentral.com out of my bulk folder to my inbox.

Yeah, I've also setup a filter. However, it's very concerning for those of us whose companies send out legitimate emails actually requested by the customer. I hope their spam review is much more rigorous than one or two people hitting that button. One or two people could then torpedo all our legitmate order confirmation emails. And I bet the vast majority of email users aren't very discerning on what is or isn't spam (and the ramifications of marking a message as spam) Ah, life with spam -- gotta love it.... ugh.

With Yahoo, I've gotten in the habit of adding the email address of anything I want to receive to my address book. This has seemed to be the best way to make sure I get the messages that I want. I use some filters, but I have found those to miss a message sometimes.
