Hi,
One of friend facing problem while installing SQLServer in WindowsNT.
Could anyone tell me how to resolve this.

1. Try disabling any anti-virus programs before starting the install.
2. Check the version of Windows NT. It needs to be Windows NT Server or better.

Your friend obviously entered something wrong during the install. Can we tell what that was? No. Unfortunately we weren't there when it was installed.
Do you know at what point the install failed? What information was being asked for when it failed?
Was this an unattended install or was your friend entering the information as it was asked for?
Please understand, this is the type of question that is really hard to answer since it's the type where we really need to be there to see what happened.
