Cannot Connect to SQL Query Analyzer

    Unable to Connect to server MyServer

    Srver: Msg 18452, Level 16 ,State 1

    [Microsoft][OBDC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server] Login failed for user 'sa'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server Connection.

    Can someone tell me why I cannot login to to SQL Server authentication using login 'sa' with a blank password

    Make sure the server authentication is not Windows Only. Right click on the SQL Server in Enterprise Manager, select Properties. On the Security tab, check that Authentication is not Windows Only.

    And please, I hope this is not a production box!!! Never use sa no password...
