When I register a server using SQL 7 Enterprise Manager, the icon shows a curving red liine on the right side of the icon (see attachment). I cannot find anything that describes this icon and what it symbolizes. The problem I'm running into is that a login used for monitoring processes (server role Process Admin), cannot see Current Activity. Using the same login, I can see it if I connect using the SQL 2000 client tools.
If you have any suggestions as to what the problem is or what the icon means, I'd like to hear them.
Thanks.

I can't see the attachment, but I thought the red line was "disconnected".
Can you run sp_who2 with this login?

The squigle in SQL 7 EM meant connected. Disconnected will not have it at all.

Yes, I can run sp_who2 just fine. I just cannot see the Current Activity. The funny part is that I can see it using SQL 2000 client tools.
