You would need an intermediate SSIS or ETL step to read the original file back using the built-in audit log reader function and output it to the format you desire.

Thanks for your reply. Actually, you can't have these go directly to table, they must go to a file first. Unfortunately.

Ok, thanks, do I have this right? If you want to use an index to assist in a join, it should be on the joining table, not the base table?

Does it matter if that UDF doesn't touch the table dealing with the Key Lookup?
