Hi. I configured the initial size of log file on a 7GB database to 3GB. Transactions logs are scheduled hourly (0800 to 1800).
I set the log file to unrestricted growth, growing in increments of 500MB.
I checked today. The database reports Log File growth and shrinkage. The log file initial size is now 100MB and Restricted Growth is now selected with a value of 2,097,152?
I am told no changes have been made.
Any thoughts as to why the initial log file size would shrink and the Restricted Growth value set?
Regards,
Phil.

Update:
Found this link in another post:

Unclear why the initial size would reset to 100MB from 3GB however?
I will double check a job has not been scheduled to shrink.
Regards,
Phil.
