Find date of last SQL login

    Does SQL Server keep track of the date in which a login last connected to the server? We have a server with over 1000 SQL logins, and many of these are probably no longer needed.

    I'm not aware of one, but you could build your own, it think. If I needed to do that I would consider changing your "Security" "Audit" level to "All", and then parce the errorlog for all login attempts, and keep track of when logins last logged on.
