No. Playing the campaign for Settlers 5 (found dirt-cheap in bargain bin a couple months ago)

I'd like to try Settlers. I play Civilization, but it's such a long game.:doze:

That looks interesting. I'll give it a try. Right now I'm trying to stay ahead of Brian Kelley in our weekly BeJeweled tournaments on Facebook.

  • I played a lot of Civilization. It took a while, but it finally dawned on me that the barbarians weren't my true enemies.

    The developers are.

I get frustrated with it since it seems that I don't get much better at it over time. Maybe I'm just a meat-head, but as many hours as I've played it, I should be an expert now - but I'm not. I've been told that it boils down to who can make the most cities the fastest at the beginning of the game. There seems to be some truth in that, but it's easy to over-extend yourself. :hehe:

  • The game is evil. Even when I managed a decisive win, it declared me to be "Ethelred the Unready."

Heh, the XBOX version is a short version. Civ V comes out in 2 weeks (ish).

Of course, you could choose to lose 6 hours with some friends in person and play the old Avalon Hill board game of the same name.

That's good! But, just for good measure, let's change one more word:
