I have been getting about 3 deadlocks per day on the OperationsManager database, the back-end for SCOM 2007. I have counted 142 deadlocks since December 5th.
Has anyone else noticed this? I'm looking on some ideas on how this can be fixed.
I wonder if there is anything in my SCOM infrastructure that should be changed.

Down load a trial of SQL Sentry if a deadlock fires it should give you the items that are in the chain of events. http://sqlsentry.net/sql-performance

Thank you, my main issue though is why I even get all these deadlocks. It is a 3rd party app (Microsoft), so there is not much I can do to tune it.
I wonder if it is something to do with my setup.
