Hi,
Faced a peculiar situation in SQL server 2000. There was a job which was scheduled at 4:00 am which didn't run at all. There was no error message nothing. Everything seem to be fine. The SQL server agent was running and didn't detect any issues. But I came across this error message from the SQL server Agent log when I ran the job manually.
[156] Job 0x0D86A999CF4A2D44A19FFBAE7CC40630 does not exist in the job cache: attempting to re-acquire it from the server...
Could you please advice on this. Just to update, yesterday the server was rebooted.

I found some links, but most of them are incomplete and don't seem relevant.
Do I need to open a case with Microsoft. Also, just to add, failover was done by some other team yesterday before restarting the server.
