I have worked with CLR before and I know that the CLR dlls should be placed on a drive locally. I'm not sure what is the best location when in a cluster; C:\Assemblies would not work as C drive is local. I have a SAN dedicated System DBs drive. Is this a good place to store CLR dlls in this situation? Thank you in advance.

Michaela,
when using CLR the placement of the dll is only important while loading the CLR assembly. Once this hace succesfully done you can remove the dll. So even on a cluster it makes no difference if you use a local drive or one of the shared cluster drives.
