Hi
We have a MSX server with a number of target servers already added. I am trying to add a new server to an existing list. On the MSX server i right click SQL Server Agent(msx) - multi server administration - Add Target servers...
The 'Welcome to the Matser Server Wizard' appears telling me it helps me make this server a Master server.
I can add the new server with no problems but do i need to re-add all the other servers as if I was doing this from the start ? Does this process in effect undo the current list of targeted servers because it gives me the impression I will just have the new server in my targeted servers if i complete the process. (I havent completed it yet for this reason)

so am I following the correct process as outlined in my post ? Or is there a better way ? As i mentioned it looks like if I right click the agent - multi server administration - add target server ....
I see a box where i can select the new server, but will this then make my new target server the only one that the MSX has enlisted ? I'm concerned that the 16 other servers I have enlisted will no longer be there ?

OK thanks for the quick reply.
Rather than do it on the MSX i have logged onto the new target server, right licked the agent - multiserver admin- and then added the server as a Target to the MSX.
By doing it that way I have not risked removing the existing servers from the MSX list, and the new server is now registred on the MSX.
Thanks
