Hi,
1. IPaddress -1
Installed sql server 2008 Enterprise edition, create database etc..
after that IPAddress-1 changed to New-IPAddress-2.
How to re-assign new IPAddress-2 in SQL server 2008.
I checking as following
SQL server configuration Manager->Protocols for MSSQLSERVER-> TCP/IP Properties
IP4 - section
Active - yes
Enabled - No
IP address- ( to set the new IPAddress here ) and removed old IP address.after that restart the services then application get it connect. IP4 section only old IPAddress appeared.
TCP Dynamic Ports -
TCP Port - 1433
what about another section IP1, IP2...IP ALL? Please suggestion me, here any changes required?

hi,
You need to add the IP address details in all the sections during configurations whereever you find the IP field. Also if you are using dynamic/static port also you need to change it there in all the sections.

IP Address- Orginal IP (primary IP Address mentioned)
IP5
IP Address-::1
IP6
IP Address-127.0.0.1
IP7
IP Address-fe80::5efe:Orignal IP%15
IP8
IP Address - fe80::100:7f:fffe%16
All the TCP Port - 1433 default port and all dynamic Ports are blank.
Please tell me, If IP1,2,3,5, and 7 mention orginal IP what will happend? but those are display some unreadable format display.

change the IP address on the server network connections centre and restart the sql server instance. Dont touch anything else!
